In the Spring 2025 session it was decided to award coconuts to ‘who was deemed the worst player for a Darlington team’, it originally covered Denny, Interclub and Top Ten games. Later it was decided that club knockouts could be included. 

The decision for the player to be awarded is made by the players and spectators, the outcome of the game is not considered.
